pedophilia as the main plot (17 y/o and icr but 100+ y/o. impossible to ignore without even getting into the normalization of emotional abuse in a story directed at young girls) and tons of plot integral racism. not bad in a fun way or underrated. its been pretty annoying to see the renaissance of ironic and unironic love and praise for this series. its so deeply uncomfortable to me. sorry for being a buzzkill but not really!
