    Yeah, no. Yeah, I enjoy the allegories Aronofsky was attempting to pull off, as evident with my enjoyment in the first half. However, the man tries to do too much, and cover such a wide range of topics in relation to creator and creation. As a Christian as well, Aronofsky's views of religion and humanity provided a catalyst of multiple discussions revolving around my faith. Yet, that view ultimately saddened me, as well as rubbed me the wrong way.

    Predictably cheesy but utterly charming. 10 Things I Hate About You balances it's on the nose humor with endearing characters that parade around the screen in a classic over-the-top 90s fashion.

    Albeit, the side characters suffer and are merely window dressing with paper-thin characterizations and motivations, but the heart of the film lies with the late Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles, who light up the screen with their natural chemistry.
