My Best Friend Is a Vampire 1987
The amount of joy it brings me to discover, after 25 years of seeking them out, a hidden gem of an 80s teen movie...cannot be overstated. What a delight this was. Well-made, fun, funny and sweet.

Orange County 2002
Surprisingly funny! None of the gross out jokes that infiltrated comedy post-There's Something About Mary. Colin Hanks is good, Jack Black is still funny at this point and look at that supporting cast! Catherine O'Hara, John Lithgow and one (scene) and done appearances from Harold Ramis, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Kline and Chevy Chase. And for some reason Brian Wilson on the soundtrack amongst Crazy Town, Lit and other reminders of what a dire time this was for music.
