    The Farewell

This broke me. What a stunning yet emotional film that deserves way more recognition. Awkwafina and Zhao Shuzhen elevated the movie so much, honestly. This movie's worth a watch for sure.

While the tone of the movie is so conflicting, I really enjoy the idea and the theme behind the movie. Some of the comedy were spot on.

"Too many guys think I'm a concept, or I complete them, or I'm gonna make them alive. But I'm just a fucked-up girl who's looking for my own peace of mind. Don't assign me yours." - Clementine

This movie messed me up so badly. The movie confused me so much at first [which I'm sure was intentional] but in the end, I was so enthralled in the movie's concept and storyline. The emotional impact of this movie is undeniable. I…

    Happy Death Day 2U

This sequel enjoys twisting the expectations that you come to expect from the first movie. Just when you THOUGHT you knew shit, the plot comes and scream "HA!" in your face 🌝

Instead of going with the typical route of the first movie, it goes crazy Sci-Fi in a Back to The Future way (which they unapologetically mention in the film), which separates this one with the previous one. I also loved the fact that they used this sequel to…

    Happy Death Day

I watched the movie again the other day and I must say, it's just as enjoyable as the first time, to be honest. With this movie, taking a lighter approach while watching it really helped because the comedic aspect of the movie does shine through even more.

Some of the death sequences are amazing and really plays with your expectations throughout the movie. There were a lot of plot twists and turns which plays on your expectations and I really love that.

In addition to that, some of the actions performed by Jessica Rothe's character in the movie was clever as hell.

  • Ultraviolet

I can't believe how horrible this movie was. As much as I love Mila, why the hell does she always begin her movies with some sort of monologue about herself and what's going on?

The graphics effects on this movie have also not aged well, like at all. It's so clear to see the horrendous CGI effects on it. The storyline of the movie wasn't exactly to shout about either. There were so many plot holes that the movie wasn't…

Keanu Reeves is such an amazing main character for this movie not gonna lie. His charms, way of speech and more makes the movie what it is.
