Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
With NWH and now this, Marvel's phase 4 is heavily blurring the lines between fan service and fan fiction. This must be a deterrent for non marvel comics fans, I'm sure, but with the comics playing such a massive role throughout my childhood, I couldn't help but be satisfied by the wonderfully shiny corporate slop !
The horror elements felt cheap, the CGI was cookie cutter Marvel pastiche, the fights were at points comedically silly, the music was surprisingly catchy…
