Marco Almeida’s review published on Letterboxd:
I almost didn’t watch All The Money In The World, simply because people went from talking about Kevin Spacey performance to talk about the accusations made to him and eventually the changes Ridley Scott made by digitally change Spacey with Christopher Plummer and finally the pay gap between Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams reshoots for the movie. It was too much talk about the movie without talking about the movie itself. And when that happens, it's because the movie isn't interesting enough to be talked about.
Still, I have it a chance. They still praised Plummer’s take on Getty, the story was interesting and looked like they had everything to make it work. But thought the entire movie I was waiting for that big moment, that justified someone making this. The moment never came.
The actors were constrained, the director was in auto-pilot and the script never tried to surprise the viewer. Which is a shame since they had everything to give us a thrilling ride, with plenty of highs and lows. But what we got was nothing like it, everything was delivered in one monotonous note.
