Shock comedy just doesn't do it for me, but it is fascinating watching people use an outsider to excuse their own prejudice.
Jojo Rabbit does a good job not necessarily making the viewer sympathize with nazis, but make you wish regular citizens never found themselves subjected to such powerful and vicious forms of hate-fueled indoctrination.
