as much as I love the first one, this one will always be my favorite for alot of reasons but I think mainly cause I have good memories when it was around its released and from watching it :,)
the soundtrack, set designs, and cinematography go hard in this one as well. and ofc the character arcs in this one are incredible! I mainly love peter's arc he shares with rocket, yondu, and gamora (god their scenes in this one had me kicking my feet and giggling I'm rooting for their endgame so bad π), also gamora and nebula rekindling their relationship (I still stand by thinking nebula should've been the one to kill thanos idc), and yondu getting through rocket by calling him out on him always trying to push people away cause of his trauma (I felt personally attack though lol)
also, ego is honestly an underrated villan cause some people mainly remember him for wanting to conquer the universe when really, him giving the woman he supposedly "loves" cancer is even more twisted. and after the sibling reveal, I feel weirded out whenever mantis called him master and she most likely had witness her other siblings die...
and GOD the last 10 mins always make me sob, I'm scare to see how vol.3 will top that. I'm so anxious for tomorrow
