Oh, I love cinema, I really do!
This has no flaws!
It’s riveting, it’s enthralling, it’s all that and so much more!!
Everything in this movie pretty much grasps the true meaning of perfection. The writing, the acting, the dialogue, the CINEMATOGRAPHY. The way Sciamma manages to say so much with so little!
It all works exactly as you wish it would. It’s a portrait and not only by title. I genuinely find this the best way to describe it, it is a Motion Picture. Every single shot in this film could be its own very paiting, and it would be a beautifully crafted one. Just absolutely stunning photography, editing and production design.
Would recommend this to anyone who wouldn’t mind a slow pace film, and would apreciate all the beauty in the details it has to offer, it is a mesmerisingly beautiful ride and also a very moving and heartfelt one!
