This film is so strange. I didn't grasp a meaning at all at first. I had to watch the screenprism explanation video about it in order to understand just what the hell this film was trying to say. Now that I get it, I can easily say that this is just about one of the best films I have ever seen. Lynch crafts a dream world that feels so personal and intimate. It's the only time where the "all a dream," trope has really worked in the way that it did. David Lynch makes films for dreamers, and this is one of the dreamiest films I think I have ever seen.
