I’m not that big of a Guardians fan but nonetheless had fun with this movie. Mantis and Baby Groot were the best characters, and the best scene was the Ravager funeral, which isn’t a surprise coming from me, a self-identified death culture enthusiast.

Honestly, I expected this to tie in with Infinity War more, especially since people kept telling me I NEEDED to watch this before I saw Infinity War, but I saw IW first and don’t think it’s essential to see this beforehand at all. But that’s just me. Overall, it’s a fun movie. Definitely tries way too hard to be funny at times, so that takes away from the genuine humor of it all, but it could be as bad as the Ted movies so. I’ll take what I can get, I suppose.
