    This movie has you questioning the definition of parenting. There's the assumption that your parent wants what is best for you. There's also the assumption that your parent loves you. This movie certainly passes the Bechdel Test. Plus I enjoy movies with robots.

    Nobody likes to see one of their favorite storylines wrap up. Part of you wants to have the ending open-ended so that the imagination can wander on the possibilities. But I'm all for a story being told and becoming canon. I've been reading several of the comics that have dealt with the history of the Sith. So I could see the credibility of some of the story where others might scoff. But, hey, it's all a grand and glorious space opera. I'm glad I got to see it with a friend on opening night.

    This film is brutal. I watched "I Spit On Your Grave' not during its initial release in 1978 but few years later on. The savagery of that movie is echoed here. I don't think its a coincidence that lead character in "Revenge" is named Jen and the lead in "I Spit on Your Grave" is Jennifer. this is a rape, horror, survival, and revenge movie.
