By far my favorite movie of the year and probably one of my favorites of all-time. That may be too soon to say but I'm pretty confident in this sticking with me for a very long time. I've said before that I love movies that focus on family bonds and this hits so many great emotional beats in that respect that made me tear up. Michelle Yeoh is incredible and I also love the end credits song by Mitski and David Byrne. There's so much to love about Everything Everywhere All at Once and I can't wait to discover more of it on future watches.

Truly blown away by this. I had heard all the hype and hadn't seen it until now and it definitely lives up to everything and more. It's so beautiful to watch and such a good story. Miyazaki is a one-of-a-kind filmmaker and I'm so happy to finally be seeing his work and that of Studio Ghibli.

What a good movie. The two lead performances are great and the dry comedic moments work so well for me. There are also so many great lines throughout. My first Hartley movie and I'm really looking forward to watching Trust.

Gorgeous costumes and settings. Kirsten Dunst is great and I'm normally highly against anachronistic soundtracks in movies, but I think it adds something here and I really like the songs that are included. I'm glad I finally got to see this.

“When do we know it’s finished?”
    “At one point, we stop.”

Céline Sciamma’s film functions as a fire - slowly burning, crackling at first and all of a sudden the flames are out of your control. Until finally the fire is put out, but the smolder lingers on.

Portrait is a beautiful love story that is wonderfully portrayed by Adèle Haenel and Noémie Merlant. The cinematography blew me away and I loved the motifs included throughout the story. Seeing this on the big screen was a great experience and one that I won’t soon forget.

Very fun and entertaining! I was shocked by some of the cameos and background appearances but I think my favorite was Linda Flynn-Fletcher from Phineas and Ferb. Overall it's a good time with probably the best use of IP and a good plot.
