Marps’s review published on Letterboxd:
During my childhood, I had a fantastic opportunity of watching the original 1972 series. So my knowledge about the premise of Go Nagai's Devilman was limited. stumbling this series was something I had looked after for considering the story was more modernized and faithful to the original manga, but fuck, this series hurts. This was going way beyond the shonen archetype character and it was refreshing. It was also refreshing that Lucifer could be humanized and empathize with, but again, fuck. This anime will be one of the best shows I have ever binge-watched to!
