Dreamgirls 2006
Eddie Murphy man, we were sleeping on his singing ability even tho Living La Vida Loca was great in Shrek 2. My biggest issue was the switch between songs in the world of the film and then people singing to each other. It should have been done like Chicago.

Creative Process: Norman McLaren 1990
I highly recommend watching this documentary about an animator who changed the film industry and yet is never spoken about in school. His work is already inspiring me and I think everyone, not just animators, can take something away from Norman McLaren.

RoboCop 1987
It’s just good fun. I implore people to watch it purely for the joy of watching it. It’s a bizarre mix of serious action plus comedy plus sci fi plus melodrama and it pulls it off just because it’s so endearing. It’s also a brilliant time capsule of 1987 and what was “cool”, especially in regards to production design. The VFX scenes are also a hilarious trip and if I was a kid I would have thought it was top of the line brilliance. Please watch. It’s great.
