    Doesn't have That Borzage Feeling, nor does Borzage have the ability to stage ship battles and swashbuckling like a Tourneur or Curtiz. The technicolor is very nice, but Henreid is way too casual and smiley to be halfway believable but oh well, it's quite beautiful and O'Hara is terrific even without a partner. Walter Slezak, in full grotesque colonial-ruler mode, stomping around and insulting everyone in the Caribbean, seems the only one truly up to the task.
