    The Wolf of Wall Street

What an insane life Jordan Belford has lived and will continue to live. This is another one of those movies that I never really felt the need to watch up until now. The amount of finance bros that love their lives by this movie is BEYOND me.

3/4 of the way through I started getting the same panicky feeling Uncut Gems gave me simply because of all the chaos.

Great Martin Scorsese film. I think this movie was cast very…

  • Fifty Shades Freed

    Fifty Shades Freed

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Is it bad that I’m still upset that Rita Ora is in this franchise? Wtf?

Anastasia gets pregnant, Christian throws a fit about it bc he can’t tail her anymore #lame.

The part where Ana gets her shit beat by Jack was pretty comical. It’s also infuriating that Ana never learns to speak up when she’s being asked a question.

In the end, it basically shows that you gotta go through life with the cards you’re dealt. Christian being adopted…

  • Fifty Shades Darker

    Fifty Shades Darker

These movies get worse and worse but I’m determined to finish.

Anastasia all of a sudden becomes more comfortable with being a sub in this but I don’t blame her bc I’d be doing the same shit if my boyfriend causally buys airlines on a random Tuesday afternoon.

I guess this movie specifically shows the toxicity and danger that can happen between a sub/dom.

Mrs. Robinson is such a cuck in this one. I’m still mad Rita Ora is in these movies. WHO INVITED HER?!!???

  • Fifty Shades of Grey

    Fifty Shades of Grey

Don’t know what possessed me to watch this dumpster fire of a movie but I did. I read all the books in high school and would foam at the mouth when Christian Grey was described. Jamie Dornan as Christian was not what I expected when the cast was released. Also, who the fuck invited Rita Ora into this movie??? Dakota Johnson as Anastasia was perfect though. I have to give the casting directors that. She has the best dumbass face…

  • The Amityville Horror

    The Amityville Horror

Ryan Reynolds in this is absolutely scrumptious. I don’t think he belongs in the horror category but we are blessed to have seen him sweaty and shirtless.

Nothing beats the original but you also can’t beat some Ryan Reynolds eye candy.

  • Run

Meh. Not fantastic but not terrible. Sarah Paulson did her thing on it. Munchausen by proxy is a very real and scary issue that few people experience and I think the reality of it is what makes it pretty scary. The first half of the movie was much better than the 2nd half because of the build up.

The information about the main character being kidnapped as a baby wasn’t surprising and I think they could’ve done away with the…

  • I, Tonya

    I, Tonya

What an unbelievable rollercoaster of emotions. Holy shit. Not sure why I hadn’t watched it earlier. Sebastian Stan in that mustache was *chefs kiss*.

Margot Robbie acted her fucking face off in this role. I can’t imagine how mentally and emotionally exhausting this role must’ve been for her to get into. From enduring trauma from her mom at a young age, to her husband, all the way up to her losing the only thing that brought her consistent joy…YIKES.

  • Encanto

They did it again. Don’t know what to write bc I’m still sobbing after the caterpillar song.

The story was fantastic. I was ready to throw hands with Abuela at one point but she redeemed herself after telling her story towards the end. I’m glad Disney is continuing the release of stories from all sorts of cultures. Seeing the different skin tones and hair textures is something that everyone needs to see on streaming platforms that cater to children.

Lin Manuel Miranda put his whole Linussy in the music bc I’m REKKKT after watching it.

  • Scream

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

If I were to teach a college course like “Intro to Horror for a New Generation”, I’d start with this movie. It’s funny, and kinda stupid, but it also caters to the OG fans. It has a very Gen Z element to it, and I see why they would use the actors in this film to get this new gen to watch the movie.

It still has a slasher feel to it but I just couldn’t move past the Gen…

  • Midsommar

This movie quickly became my comfort movie. The cinematography is stunning and the use of mechanics in some of the gory scenes is incredible. I can’t wait for Ari Aster to release more sick and twisted films. This guy is my fucking hero.

  • tick, tick...BOOM!

    tick, tick...BOOM!

Andrew Garfield put his entire garfussy in this performance. What an inspiring and heartbreaking movie.

  • Munchausen

One of his better shorts. It’s giving very much Gypsy Rose.
