    While "Soldier" may not be the strongest "Blade Runner" sequel it is possibly one of the best films Paul W.S Anderson has ever directed.

    The film may be generic and by the numbers but it has Kurt Russel and a solid central idea wrapped in an existential sci-fi western package. Its unfortunate that Anderson doesn't bother to explore any ideas, themes or characters in depth.

"The Sugarland Express" has quite a lot of similarities with Sidney Lumet's "Dog Day Afternoon", made one year later.
