I've never enjoyed a period movie that much!! i'm in awe of the cinematography, costumes, music, and every single performance (especially anya taylor-joys). Everything is just so bright and full of LIFE, it's fun and quirky and still has emotional moments, and you can definitely feel the female gaze and also THE YEARNING AND TENSION
