Oh man, when Kylo Ren finds out what Poe Dameron did with his grandma, he's going to be PISSED!

Controversial opinion ahead.
I will admit that I am a bit of a contrarian. Perhaps even hipster is an accurate word. Movies everyone loves I tend to view more critically. Hype can practically ruin a movie for me. When a movie receives tons of acclaim, I go into it with very high expectations. So, it's no surprise (at least to myself) that every year, there is a film or two nominated for Best Picture that I just cannot find myself…
This movie was a bit disjointed. I didn't feel that the main character, Howie, really had a goal or an arc. He was just dealing with the chaos in his life. I guess that's OK, but not 100% compelling. I will say that the individual scenes by themselves were fine. It would have been great to have a more over-arching story. A fair directorial debut for Melissa Miller Costanzo.
