This was pretty good but this is not a movie for children. It was very dark and brutal.
This is not really you typical zombie movie. To me it was more like a drama. The majority of it is made up of conversations, trusting others, forgiveness and fear. It barely show any zombies at all. This movie is about forgiveness. I didn't like it at first because the parents are so cringe-worthy. I thought it was celebrating who they were. But it is about a daughter, who despite all that she went through as a child, chose to forgive her parents in order to truly grow up and become whole. It is about her journey.
