And these Holmes movies are sure on a roll now that all the War propaganda has disappeared. Delightfully convoluted plot akin to Ten Little Indians, in an old dark house in the middle of a rain storm. What else do you need? There's also some brutal murders (offscreen of course but nicely described) and Watson Vs Lestrade (Round...um...7?) and a very silly but entertaining performance by Aubrey Mather as a man who seems suspiciously happy all the time.
Creepy when it needs to be, mysterious when it has to be, and quite often funny as heck. Just so much fun!
