    Dude, Where's My Car?

Wow. I can't believe I used to think this was funny....well, the bubble wrap outfits popping every time they move was funny, but that's about all.

Wild West Summer 2019 ( ) 18 - Watch a Western that has been on your watchlist forever

It pretty much takes the idea of the Due South TV series and flips it from a fish out of water Mountie in the US, to a fish out of water American outlaw in Canada. But also a Western this time. Paul Gross is always a charming, likable and funny fellow and Graham Greene shows up briefly so that's always a plus. It really feels more like a TV movie than theatrical, but whatever, the cast is great and I laughed. Good enough for me.

Daily Horror Scavenger Hunt 14 – August 2019 - Day 1: A sequel to a movie released by Syfy.

You know, the effects are bad, the actors are bad, the dialogue is bad, characters do really dumb things and apparently don't know how to mime paddling a canoe or shooting a gun. And there's a character from Canada named Toronto. He's a poacher. So he's bad...but with a heart of gold. But anyway, the sheer ridiculousness of meerkats and porcupines…

Haven't seen this in years but I always remembered thinking it was really funny. It is. Helped by some alcohol. But I'm pretty sure it would be funny anyway.

Daily Horror Scavenger Hunt 13 – July 2019 Day 13: Watch any horror movie that Rich Strahs ( ) has rated 5 stars.

I probably liked the idea of this movie more than the actual execution of it. It wasn't what I was expecting though. I thought this would be a cheesy SyFy movie with cgi werewolves attacking and a local sheriff having to save the day, but it wasn't that. Like I said, the idea is interesting. But the movie wasn't. But Tim Thomerson basically stole every single scene that he was in so that makes it all worth it right there.

It's sort of awful, but in a crazy, weird, dumb humour kind of way that I ended up loving, even though when it first started I thought I was going to be disappointed.

Return to the 36 Chambers – 2019 Martial Arts Film Challenge: Jackie Chan.

Well damn I really hated that part in the middle when they're in court. Seriously. But it doesn't matter. The fights are amazing. So is the car chase through the town...I mean THROUGH the town. It's been a while since I've watched a Jackie Chan movie, especially a young Jackie Chan movie. I'd kind of forgotten how incredible his stunts were. And I love that if it's…

Return to the 36 Chambers – 2019 Martial Arts Film Challenge: free for all!!!

Ok. I'm going to get my minor complaint about this, and other martial arts movies out of the way, the thing that always takes me out of a movie: When there's one dude versus a big gang of people and the gang seems to wait their turn to attack. One on one. It's weird. I get it. A mass of humanity vs one guy...guy ain't going…

I knew I wasn't going to like this nearly as much as the first one when the dog lifted it's leg on James Garner.

    K-On! The Movie

I'm sad. Over two days I watched everything K-On! Everything. The series, the OVAs, extra episodes, the movie. Now I've run out of new K-On! to watch. That breaks my heart.

Luckily the show has a lot of rewatch value so I'm happy about that. I just wish there was more!

Daily Horror Scavenger Hunt 13 – July 2019 Day 15: Watch any horror movie featuring a Grizzly Bear.

There was a scene where a bear (ie. a man in a bear suit) actually tackles a hunter. Like in American Football tackling. That made me so happy and glad I watched this awful movie. Don't get me wrong, there are so many hilarious things that happen. Bad movie things. But I think when there's more flashbacks in your killer bear movie than there are actual bear attacks, then there's a bit of a problem. Plus, all the marital arguments got on my nerves.

Holy crap! The effects in this movie are amazing! And there's a panther walking around. I don't know why but I love it!
