Masood’s review published on Letterboxd:
Considering this premiered at TIFF I assume I can talk about it now. It’s been over a month since I’ve seen this and I’ve honestly thought about it every day since. With one of the most deliciously devious casts ever assembled, and Johnson’s sharpest script to date, I fell in love with everything about this movie. Christopher Plummer is surprisingly a stand-out amongst the incredible cast, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him walk away with a golden statue or two come awards season.
It’s quite easy to read this as a response to all the LAST JEDI “critics”, as Johnson manages to subvert a record number of expectations. I can’t wait to watch it again and again and again.
