There was a lot of noise and controversy surrounding this movie both before and after it's release, but I tried to go into this movie with an open mind and it really isn't all that bad. I thought the CGI was a highpoint for this movie and the acting was all there. It's simply that the end credit scene was uninteresting, and the pacing/character development were subpar. Aside from that, it wasn't bad; it was simply mid.

This now being my second watch of Enemy(2013) I think I gave it a fair rating the first time around. Like i've said before, the cinematography, acting, and suspense are all as good as I recall. The one thing I can't figure out is whether Helen knew Adam wasn't her real husband and played along or if she didn't know and thought it was Anthony the entire time? Helen reminded me of Florence Pugh's character Dani at the end Midsommar. And what's the significance of that spider at the end?

    Moon Knight

    ★★★½

Moon Knight is one of my favorite MCU shows as of now and that's due to the great character development and directing done by Mohamed Diab. I feel that episode 5-Asylum was a real turning point for this show and it now changes the tones of the other episodes which is really interesting to think about. The acting was pretty good and action sequences weren't too bad. The only issue I had with Moon Knight is that it felt rushed towards the end especicially during ep.6 which I felt could've been longer. Other than that its a pretty cool watch.

Really solid movie that was written and directed by Robert Eggers. I've seen both The Lighthouse and The Witch which both included horror like aspects and some of that is seen in The Northman. This movie includes a star-studded cast and has some of the best acting i've seen in a long time. I thought the movie had a great score and the action sequences were pretty violent at times (which is a good thing). Not the greatest movie ever but one thats both solid and rewatchable in my opinion.
