Arya Harsono’s review published on Letterboxd:
Beginning my End of 2015 Challenge with what can only be described as the Italian 400 Blows in terms of it's prominence as a coming-of-age drama and it's impact on me. A poignant expression of adolescence and the question of "destiny" that we constantly ask ourselves as we continue to live, even when we grow old. We know from the very first scene the significance of Alfredo's death to Salvatore, but we do not feel the loss until the very last scene, and it is a powerful and heavy feeling.
Am now conditioned to cry at the faintest drop of Love Theme for Nata.
