Letterboxd — Your life in film

(North)Men would rather swear to avenge their father, save their mother and kill their uncle than go to therapy.

Could've been better than the first if it wasn't over-long and over-stuffed.

The good: Batman doing some detective work for a change.

The bad: it's not 60-80 minutes shorter.

The annoying: did we really need that teaser scene near the end? The answer is no, we did not.

Absolutely no reason it needed to be this long. Or show that scene twice.

How do I ditch these kids?

It was OK until a cop said "broken people help broken people" out of nowhere. Why not add "This emotional journey you've been through helped you realize things about yourself". F*** off.

Loved how Jared Leto embodied a GTA character.

Surprisingly not as terrible as I expected it to be.

I'm sorry, but no scene that features "Smells Like Teen Spirit" will ever top that of Pan (2015):

If I told you there was movie that has a discussion about how Forrest Gump couldn't be made today, a killer who targets cops and a Twilight joke, what year would you have gussed that movie came out?

Also, the most predictable twist in the franchise's history? It's like they put it down as a placeholder twist and then forgot to write a better one (or weider one , I would've also accepted weirder one)

I truly am amazed there was any budget left after getting all those songs.

Jigsaw in the first films: You don't appreciate your life enough.

Jigsaw in this film: You don't appreciate your marriage enough.

Jigsaw in Saw 8: You don't appreciate your neighbors in Animal Crossing enough.
