Charming as hell, indie rom-com with a author approach, a killer soundtrack and a strong sense of place.
Is all what i want for a such humble beginning.
Kids was amazing. I loved the style, the vibe, the nihilistic and dark portrait of youth, the charmimg and powerful performances, the grimy, dirty camera work, and stuff.
Bully has many of this features but it lacks something. I don't know precisely what it is. But something about the characterization, the pacing, the overall story is just off. I know that's is a true story but the stupidity of the characters is hard to believe, it keep putting me off of the story. And some artistic choices here are questionable at least.
I'm still interested in Larry Clark's work though.
