This is what you get when two award winning directors decide to use questionable Indian mysticism and screaming blondes to work through their failing love lives.

Now I see why everyone was complaining:

What a fall from grace, first marvel movie I think I struggled to get through, not sure I genuinely laughed once. ( Besides at the awful CGI).

I love Taika Waititi’s work but surely he can’t convince himself he did a good job here. The story was almost non-existent, the jokes fell flat the overuse of Sweet Child O’ Mine and the shameless CGI.

    The Poetry in Everyday Life:
Another poignant masterpiece by Wong Kar-Wai which absorbs you into it’s narrative, into a world so layered and lived in an occupied with such tangible feelings of loneliness but strangely hope.
Really enjoyed the film as you can tell by my waxing lyrical before.
Love the cover of Happy together too.
    Would Highly recommend.

This pitch black horror comedy has to be seen to be believed. I’ve never seen a film quite like it and cements Alice Lowe ( Who writes, directs and stars in the film ) as a creative force to be reckoned with. Haunting, Surreal while at times sharply funny, this film treads  the line between surrealist art piece and full on revenge film perfectly. The rest of the cast are perfect for the direction and vibe carried by Lowe’s pregnant performance. This film deserves a lot more attention and for those from my film society, I will be showing this film very soon. A quirky masterpiece.
