    Surprisingly artful--takes the usual Frontline formula but breaks from the typical journalistic, feigned objectivity of digging through testimony and archival evidence in favor of vibes...a Raymond Williamsesque structure of feeling but in *that* form is interesting, and maybe, at this point in its unfurling, the best way to represent whatever it was that just happened. Or is happening, I guess.

    Best segment in the first clip puts clips of Trump and Bolsonaro over a circusesque Belarusian polka song featuring the lyrics "Go away, Coronavirus! We don't want you!"

    If Tarantino made this in 2015--aesthetics aside--he would have been booted straight back to the video store. I'll probably change my mind when I see this again in a few years and realize why it's as highly regarded as it is, but for now I'm going to just say that this is the most expensive excuse for letting a white guy throw the n word around as a stand in for every pronoun in the past fifty years.
