Matt Goldberg’s review published on Letterboxd :
The most honest portrayal of a nerd. If you ever wanted to know the difference between geeks and nerds, Zero Charisma provides the answer. I have to commend the filmmakers for not having someone shout the line, "Fuck you, Big Bang Theory! This is how the real shut-ins act. We're not cute like Sheldon. We're angry and dangerous." Sam Eidson's performance is unforgettable, partially because anyone who has ever been around nerds will recognize Scott. They'll spot the arrogance, passive aggressiveness, and struggle to hold on to what little power they have in this world. Kudos to directors Katie Graham and Andrew Matthews for finding both the humor and the self-loathing to create a fully fleshed-out and compelling lead character.
