I haven't seen this since high school and had no idea until the beginning credits that Michael Cain plays Scrooge. I didn't cherish this movie like I once did. I thought some of the songs were kind of boring at times and I wasn't totally convinced Michael Cain was a mean old man. That's saying nothing against the acting talent of Cain. He just seems too nice of a guy to play Scrooge. There is still a lot of great elements of this movie and you forget these are puppets through out the film.
