A Name Without a Place ★★½

Kenny Riches' debut, 'The Strongest Man,' revealed a filmmaker with a solid grasp on a certain type of weirdo-realist Florida story; this is a far less successful dip into similar waters. Still fun for those of us residing in the Southern half of our strangest state, but also pretty deeply flawed on both a plot and character level.

That said: Charlotte Best is an actor to watch for, and it's great to see Patrick Fugit doing good work.

Screened at the Key West Film Festival 2019.
