Matt’s review published on Letterboxd:
David Robert Mitchell is a smart young writer+director whose big break out was a cracking modern classic horror/thriller that made everyone desperate to see what he'd do next. He's followed it with a jumbled mess of a noir-ish psychological thriller/adventure that quite honestly is so confusingly mental that I'm not sure if I loved or hated it. Presently I'm leaning toward the latter.
He's following the career path of Richard 'Donnie Darko/Southland Tales' Kelly extremely closely.
Worrying.
(Andrew Garfield saves it)
