It's a great story with romance, bravery and patriotism, the perfect combination to stir Indian hearts. But the execution was atrocious.
I have lots of respect for Vishal Bharadwaj whose Shakespearean triology were simply fabulous. But in this movie he has made a mess of things. There is no thought given to the proper way the story should move forward. At times it drags on and on and sometimes it just jumps forward. Good actors were not utilised properly, the music was bad and there was too much cg where real effects were not difficult to do. Overall a very poor effort.
