    "What do you want?"
"Ahh, the direct approach. I admire that in a man with a mask. ... You don't really think you'll win, do you?"
    "Things change."

Best Batman movie? *Christopher Walken voice* Maybe.

I'd be more likely to concede that to Matt Reeves' The Batman at this point. I think it takes the trophy home in terms of best understanding Batman and bringing his essence to the big screen.

    But just talking…

"And sometimes... sometimes I ask myself, 'Am I the same I person I was yesterday'? Maybe you weren't the only one changing."

The Beauty Inside is a movie with an inspired premise, and one that runs the same risks as Woo-jin and Yi-soo themselves do in pursing a relationship: can you get invested in someone's life when every fledging moment they have a completely different face?

It all makes or breaks on whether Woo-jin remains a single, cohesive, and completely…

"But I'm a bad loser, Doctor. I always destroy the destroyer!"

There are still plenty of holes in the classic series for me, especially in the First Doctor's run where the pacing is slower, the writing more stock and full of fluff, with many of the episodes missing and can only be watched through reconstructions.

The Celestial Toymaker has been one of those kinds of stories that I've been less motivated to seek out, especially since it being mostly missing…

"There's no naughty kids, Nick. They're all good kids. But some of them are scared. Some of them don't feel listened to. And some of them had pretty tough breaks. But every kid deserves a present on Christmas."

Alright, yeah! This is that Paul Giamatti holiday movie everyone's been loving, right? I think I got the right one.

Wasn't expecting much from Fred Claus honestly, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It's dumb, and a little…

    Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant

A harmless bit of fluff for the really obsessive MCU fans.

If they kept on caring this much about explaining away any plot point as incongruous as why Tony Stark would be the one to talk to General Ross at the end of The Incredible Hulk, we'd probably have a million of these shorts by now (half of them made specifically for Endgame).

But it's nice to get a little taste of the inside S.H.I.E.L.D. meetings that happened between movies. And I like that the World Security Council sees Emil Blonsky as the big hero who defeated the Hulk. Because yeah, of course they would.

"You're the Doctor! You know everything!"
"Except for the million times that I don't and I thought you knew that!"

I wonder what's going to upset fans more about this one: that the wild expectations everyone set for themselves about how Susan Foreman, every past Doctor, the Meddling Monk, and Naked Benton were all going to cameo in this were very obviously not met... or that RTD has just defiantly declared that he's going to keep on rolling with the…
