    Sonic the Hedgehog

Never have I ever left a theater completely stunned. Sonic The Hedgehog is cinema in its purist form. I laughed, I cried, I became a better brother, son, and friend as this movie progressed. First time director Jeff Fowler puts on a masterclass in filmmaking, from his overt homages to the likes of Kubrick and Hitchcock, to his precise following of Joseph Cambell’s Hero of a Thousand Faces.

    Little Women

I've never read the book, never seen any previous adaptation. Had almost no interest in seeing it. Greta Gerwig directs the hell out of this. If you struggle understanding the time jumps, then you're stupid. This is a really good movie.

    Fireproof (2008)
    Director: Spike Lee
Director of Photography: Hoyt Van Hoytema

Legitimately one of the most fun viewing experiences I've ever had. I, laughed, I cried, I became a new person after watching the cinematic achievement that is FIREPROOF. Kirk Cameron gives an empathetic, and heart felt performance as Caleb. A man who must give up masturbating in the middle of the living room and give his life to God in order to save his marriage. Caleb does not win…

  • Venom

This is a masterclass in french cinema. Godard is smiling in his grave right now thinking of the absolute immaculacy Venom bring to the table. Tom Hardy gives the performance of a lifetime, and Michelle William's wig is all set to receive a best supporting actor nom come award season. Also Venom and Eddie Brock had the hottest on screen kiss I've ever seen. All in all, do yourself a favor and let the devil in. See the movie that will force the likes of Scorsese, Tarantino and Villeneuve into retirement. #SeeTheMovie
