    I can already tell this movie is going to rub some viewers the wrong way, as Hogg's direction is so subtle some may view it as inert. But the way she carefully, deliberately constructs these characters personas, slowly but surely, makes the ultimate conclusion hit like a cannonball of emotion ripping through the viewer.
