Saw it again in the new apartment with my roommate. I just fucking love this film so much. I love every character. The old ladies struggling to bake the herring pie. Osono the owner of the bakery, and her husband. Kiki. Jiji. Even the old man in the clock tower, only present twice in the film. Everyone is so fully realized and empathetic and wholesome. Glowing radiant big love for this work of compassion and togetherness.
