Even though the directing was a little off and the script wasn't spectacular, the story was cute.

Drag Me to Hell 2009
I fully understand Sam Raimi's vision for Drag Me To Hell... bludgeoning modern horror tropes to a ridiculous degree and all that jazz.
Unfortunately, I've become so bitter than any level of jump scare crushes my chin with old gypsy teeth (see what I did there?) Therefore, continuous scare after scare left me rolling my eyes rather than collapsing in laughter.
Sorry Sam, even though Drag Me To Hell came first- Cabin in the Woods did it better.
