Simon Woods’s review published on Letterboxd:
Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro give two of the best performances of the year in perhaps the most suspenseful movie of the year. Emily Blunt is my favorite actress. And given opportunities like this, to perform complex characters in great movies, she will distinguish herself as one of the best of this generation. Benicio Del Toro plays a CIA consultant who has more going on than meets the eye, and has several moments that are more than shocking. And, there is a scene at the end between them that is the most tense I have been at the movies since No Country for Old Men. This is seriously a great movie, and it will deserve way more acclaim at the Oscar's than it inevitably gets.
