This movie is about a Russian played by Kenneth Branaugh (yeah) who sends stuff back in time which is bad for some reason. Also I think it's his plan to take over the world, but he's dying? And he's blackmailing his own wife (Elizabeth Debicki) because she's an art forger or thief or something. Also when you shoot a gun the bullets fly back into the gun which is nowhere near as cool as it sounds.
John David Washington plays the protagonist, The Protagonist (yeah) who is the master of the slowest karate ever captured on film, but I think that's because it's backwards karate. It's never made explicit that backwards karate is supposed to be slow, though; it's left up to the audience's imagination.
Robert Pattinson rounds out the cast.
