I strongly recommend people read or at least watch a recap of the original poem before watching this because that ending will hit so much harder with proper context. It doesn't just adapt from a 14th-century story, it has a conversation with it. SO FLIPPIN' GOOD!
I can not overstate how happy I am that we finally have another straight-up evil Disney villain without any caveats. Like, there's no twist or redemption arc with them, they're just a bonafide piece of shit.
