I love seeing Elissa Steamer skate to The Sundays..wouldn't have thought to use a song like that. Pretty cool
I couldn't sleep last night so I watched this why not! I know this is a classic I should've watched a long time ago but this was probably the scariest movie I've ever seen and also the most gorgeously filmed. All the orange sunsets and the shots of the moon and the way light was used so creatively. That first scene when they pickup the hitchhiker was truly so unnerving. A horror movie hasn't made me feel that scared in a long time dang this was good!

“Why is everyone so ready to believe the worst is over?”
-I found this to be Dakota Johnson at her most convincing. Her transformation (or ascension?) was believable and fun to watch. I still felt that her performance lacked something. Mia Goth as Sara was the real standout. I couldn’t stop watching her in every scene she was in and found something really captivating about her performance.
-Thom Yorke’s score was great. I liked how it switched between atonal/ambient sounds…
