M.D. Perkins’s review published on Letterboxd:
A surprisingly effective take on the beloved Christmas tale, balancing the darker elements with the sweetness and humor of the Muppets in the creation of a genuinely moving film. Really, the Muppets take much of a backseat, which works really well here, adding their distinctive flourishes but keeping the action centered around Michael Caine's Scrooge. It's been forever since I've read the book, but it sounded like a lot of Scrooge's dialogue was very faithful to the source material.
