Company 2008
One day I will watch a musical that doesn’t make me cry. But today is not that day.
Something about a musical just makes me feel so vulnerable, and vulnerability is where Company shines.I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said a million times over but this blew me away. Every performance was incredible and this staging was so interesting and impressive. Multiple, multi-instrumentalists and they’re singing!!!! I’ll never get over how cool that is.
This musical is beautiful…

The Abyss 1989
James Cameron is an absolute mad man. He puts stuff to film that seems completely impossible and just leaves me scratching my head how nobody died in the process.
Please throw money at this man forever.
I don’t think this thing is perfect, but holy hell is it awesome and seeing it in 4K on the big screen was the way to experience it. Moments of real heart and pain and camaraderie that you just don’t get in blockbusters anymore.
It’s so awesome.
