Don’t you just love those random Swedish movie title replacements.
80’s slasher with Jamie Lee Curtis running from a masked killer. On a train, with some Copperfield magic. That’s about it.
I liked the train setting, not that much kills.
The gimmick of the killer changing costumes and a good ending, even if I knew who the killer was from the start.
And I think Jamie got the hots for those yellow jockeys in the beginning.
This was more entertaining than I remembered.
Great gory kills, quality effects.
The story was alright, but the action doesn’t start until halfway in. And Stoltz, don’t know about that, he’s just so boring to me.
Never mind how the “dad” ended up, but why you go keeping that poor dog alive in agony !

The Fly really creeped me out as a kid.
It was just a great horror experience back then, but now I see the quality of this cult classic.
I mean til this day Horror / Sci-Fi is my goto genre. The special effects, the dark tone, Goldblum hanging out with a baboon. He’s perfect in the part, with his peculiar charm and ticks.
Btw, Mel Brooks came up with that classic line:
Be afraid, be very afraid. Who knew it would make such an impact.
