Jason Bourne ★★★½

In my mind Bourne films are about tricky scraps in exotic, locations with a bit of standard spy thriller stuff to keep it all moving along.

This had plenty of the latter and not enough of the former, instead replacing it with bigger, more spectacular (and less interesting) action.

The last 20 minutes jumped the shark for a franchise that is about lots of sneaky violence and espionage, but despite that it hit enough marks to work.
