My God, get ready for 90 minutes of dread, reader, terrible dread. When the horrible-ness happens, it's sweet relief! You'll be welcoming the horrible-ness with open arms, thank you, thank you, kissing it on it's forehead.
The visuals and the sound design are deployed effectively to build the dread. The acting was great, especially in the looks given, not the words spoken. Tilda Swinton and both actors portraying Kevin were especially impressive.
Because the story is non-linear, the audience has to concentrate closely on the film, sitting close, studying it with eyes wide ... and the Director takes that opportunity to stab your eyes with little needles. Thanks a lot, Lynn.
