    Gonna have to gather my thoughts on this one but I really liked it! I'd rank it above soul. It has incredibly slick visuals and a lot of emotional heart that immersed me. The climax is really cool

    People didn't like the character designs but the character animation is also very expressive. I sort of like the art styles deemed "calarts". I'm not into boy bands but the way they tie into this movie even got me

    Noticeable improvement in art and animation from the previous 2 films! Seems like the linework and shading here is different somehow.

    This one has probably the best pacing out of these films with the least amount of boring segments. There's a much better flow here scene to scene and it feels more like a cohesive movie and not just a bunch of episodes of an anime edited together (which it is)

    Don't think I'm smart enough to do a proper review of this movie so I'll just spit out some thoughts

    Damn Shinji initiating third impact himself and having to be convinced otherwise is way more interesting than the original ending

    The sound design and orchestral score is amazing! Unfortunately I don't think you can get the full score of the movie on cd (I would probably buy it) but you can get Komm Susser Tod (The song that plays when…
